What are your overall thoughts on Speedy Gonzales?
I would definitely say the depiction of Mexicans in Speedy wasn't as offensive as some of the outright ****ery we saw when it came to African-American portrayls, since after all, Speedy did win in the end, but nonetheless, TV is a sociology class for the ignorant and this is aimed at children no less. So if someone doesn't de-educate them when it comes to cartoons of this nature, I believe a schema is set which may or may not have an affect on their way of thinking.
