Do you have a favorite "movie mom" & "television mom"?
My favorite movie mother is Ms. Mildred Pierce, played by the legendary Joan Crawford in 1945. Mildred Pierce was a mother who would do any and everything for her children, even though she had to pay a hefty price for it.
My favorite TV mom is the beautiful, confident, strict-but-fair, and loving Mrs. Clair Huxtable, played by Phylicia Rashad in the 1980s hit sitcom The Cosby Show. Clair Huxtable showed an equal amount of love, attention, and discipline to each and every one of her children.
