On this day in 1995, Elizabeth Montgomery passed away of cancer at the age of 62. She is best known for her role as Samantha Stevens in Bewitched. Montgomery would also receive three Emmy nominations after Bewitched for her leading roles in A Case of Rape, The Legend of Lizzie Borden, and The Awakening Land.
